International Convention 2022

Picture
ICON 2022 Registration has opened! ICON 2022 will be held in the Capital District's very own Washington D.C. from July 6-10. We are so excited for you to attend the first in-person ICON since 2019! Attached is the information on International Convention this year.

This year, attendees have an option of two different choices when it comes to International Convention - you can do day passes for one or more days while commuting from home or a full tour which includes hotel, all meals, snacks, fun events, and a t-shirt/pins for students to trade.  This flexibility is great but we encourage you to take advantage of the full tour. When International Convention is outside of the Capital District, the price to attend is usually around $1,000 or more. This is a chance to experience ICON at almost half the price! Members are encouraged to reach out to their sponsoring Kiwanis Club and see whether they have opportunities for funding. Many of them will sponsor 1/3 of your cost. There is also a sponsorship toolkit from Key Club International to help with more ideas, which can be found here: https://www.keyclub.org/resources/sponsorship-toolkit/
