What We Are:
The pancake project is a new fundraiser that the Capital District is starting! Similar to the fundraising projects of Boy Scouts with their popcorn & Girl Scouts with their famous cookies, the Capital District of Key Club will be selling our very own pancake mix! Boxes will be sold by Key Clubbers throughout the Capital District and then distributed to those who bought them. With this fundraiser the Capital District will be able to do many new fun things for all of the members within it!

Our Goals:
Currently our goal is for each Key Club member in the Capital District to sell 10 boxes of pancake mix. If this happens then this will be one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in all of Key Club's history.

How You Can Help:
There are many things you can do to help. These can include actions such as:

    - Setting up a stand outside a local grocery store (with permission) and selling mix to people.

    - Contacting grandparents or family and asking them if they would want to buy and pancake mix.

    - Reaching out to teachers and other faculty staff at your school to see if they might be interested in buying anything.

    - Advertising the project on your personal or club social media pages.

    - Or encouraging your fellow club members to participate in the fundraiser.

Every action you take will help our project succeed, no matter how small you may think it is.
Why you should help:
With the money from this fundraising campaign the Capital District will be able to fund new ideas and expand previous projects to new heights! One example of what may happen if this project goes well is improvements to DCON, with an expanded funding pool to draw from for DCON we can add new activities to make it even more exciting and even lower costs to attend! Other examples may include new scholarships becoming available, donations to charities, or reducing dues!
